S & K FAMOUS BRANDS REPORTS DECEMBER SALES

Richmond, VA, January 4, 2007—S&K Famous Brands, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SKFB:PK; www.skmenswear.com) today announced sales for the five weeks ended December 30, 2006. Total sales were $23.3 million compared with $25.2 million last year. Same-store sales were down (8.3)%.

Sales for the 48-week period ended December 30, 2006 were $169.7 million compared with $181.3 million last year. Year-to-date same store sales were down (6.5)%.

S&K Famous Brands, Inc. is a retailer of value-priced menswear operating 230 stores in 26 states reaching from the East Coast to Texas and from Maine to Florida.
